The village of Robin Hoods Bay is a historic fishing village set on a steep hillside that winds its way down to the coastline. The streets are winding and narrow, with pathways often constructed of pebbles. There's lots to see and discover in this historic little village. The original inhabitants of the village are said to have been Viking Raiders who settled here to farm and fish. However, 'these days', the locals are much more friendly and you will be made welcome at one of the local pubs of which there is no shortage.
